This book is a facsimile reprint of the 1901 Bulletin of the New York State Museum. The original title was Wampum and Shell Articles Used by the New York Indians by William M. Beauchamp.

This book discusses how the Native Americans from Northeastern North America used Quahog shell. It also describes the items that they made with it like Beads, Pendants, Tubes, Decorations and  Belts.  You will also find a discussion of the Campbell Wampum Factory in New Jersey.
