Annual Pocumtuck Homelands Festival,  A Celebration of Native American Art, Music, and Cultures

Location: Unity Park Waterfront, 1st Street Turners Falls MA

Time:  Daytime events both days

Details:  The 11th Annual Pocumtuck Homelands Festival: A Celebration of Native American Art, Music, and Cultures is not a traditional powwow although many of the favorite aspects of a traditional powwow are celebrated. Among the presenters this year will be Hawk Henries, Tom Porter, and Morgan Toney. We will have about 40 outstanding Indigenous artists, children’s activities, music, history presentations, and much, much more. These are daytime events. No overnight accommodations ut overnight security on Saturday. Vendor registration is required. Request a form at nolumbekaproject@gmail.com. The Nolumbeka Project is a non-profit, all-volunteer, non-tribal organization focused on honoring and celebrating Northeastern tribal heritage and modern-day presence. We create and promote educational opportunities, preservation projects, and cultural events where Indigenous people tell their own stories in their own words.
