These darling earrings feature petite Heart shaped pendants made with real wampum! The crafter carved 1/2" long Hearts that hang from Sterling Silver French Hooks.Quahog shells from the Atlantic waters from Cape Cod south to New York are the source of real Wampum. Traditionally, Native American used Wampum to make beads and pendants. Wampum Belts consisted of Purple Wampum Beads and White Whelk Shell Beads woven or strung together.
