Stovepipe Top Hat

This Antique Stovepipe Top Hat stands nearly 8" tall.  The hat features a 2" wide brim and a narrow ribbon around the crown.  The nap is very soft and reminiscent of beaver fur.
You will see worn spots on the top of the crown and the underside of the brim.  The inside comes with a ribbon stamped RIDLON MANUFACTURER BOSTON.  The top lining looks like silk.  You will find a blue paper lining inside and a 'band' of something that looks like leather but is very shiny.  We think a previous owner attempted to repair this Top Hat and left spots of glue and some obvious stitching.
The crown of this Top Hat separated from the brim.  You must take care in handling it.
This Top Hat will make an interesting addition to your collection.  We do not recommend trying to wear it in its current condition.
The hat measures approximately 8" tall. The top measures 7.25" across and 7.75" from front to back.
The opening for head measures 8" in diameter on the longer side and 6.25" on the narrower side.
