It is a reproduction of Rattles made by the Native Americans of the Northwest Coast with a face similar to a Totem animal. The crafter created the face of a Bear . He added Abalone Discs for the eyes and incised holes for the nostrils. The paint colors include Green, Brown, Red, Pink, Blue and Black. You can see the crafter made it in two pieces and glued the back of the head on after filling the Rattle.
This Rattle measures about 11.5" tall. The head measures about 12.5" in circumference. It is in very good condition and will make a nice focal point for your collection.
