Signed Laguna Pueblo Pottery

SOLD This Pottery Laguna will be a welcome addition to  your collection.  It was created by artist Gladys Sratyu'we Paquin from the Laguna  Pueblo in New Mexico.  Gladys made her pottery in the late 20th century.  She created this piece with a white slip and then painted the repeating geometrical designs with red, brown and black slips.  Use his piece to store small items or display it with your collection.  You will see Sratyu'we G. Paquin Laguna painted on the bottom.  One of a Kind!

 Native American Pottery

Native American potters in the Southwestern United States make traditional style pottery.  Pottery making was re-established at the Laguna Pueblo in the late 20th century.  Gladys Sratyu'we Paquin was one of the artists who participated in that revival.
This Pottery Laguna stands about 4.5 inches tall and  about 4.25 inches wide at the widest point.  The top opening measures just 2.5 inches in diameter.  We got it from a collection.  It is in  good condition.  You will see small, light scratches in a few places on the sides.  One of a Kind!
