Display this Set of Three Black on Black Pottery with your collection! We offer these individual pieces as a set. Each features a simple etched design. Potters make Black on Black pottery by polishing the pot and then etching a design on it that appears matte.The Flat Dish measures 4.25" in diameter across the top. It stands about 1" high. You can see that someone scratched a name on the bottom, but other than 'D' is it difficult to read.
The larger Pot measures about 3" in diameter. It stands about 2" high. You will see a white mark with '2' written on it on the bottom, but no evidence of a signature.
The smaller Pot measures just under 2" in diameter. It stands just under 2" high. The artist signed her name, "Marie Martinez" on the bottom. This pot has a crack in it (see photo). It does not seem to go all the way through the side. You will find it nearly invisible when you display the Pot.
