These Antique Arapaho Style Child's Moccasins feature a cross design on the vamp. We believe a crafter created them around 1910. You can still see residue of the yellow ochre that covered the outside of the moccasins. The crafter stitched the Braintanned Deerhide and rawhide sole with real Sinew.The crafter used White, Green, White Center Red and Turquoise Seed Beads to create the design.
A previous owner wore these moccasins. We offer them as antique collectibles. The beaded design remains intact. One of the Leather Lacings was lost.
These moccasins measure nearly 6.5" long x 2.5" wide. They stand about 1.75" high at the cuff.
