Military Style Coat Red
Military Style Coat Red
SOLD This Military Style Coat Red is the perfect accessory for a Living History re-enactor! The seamstress made this reproduction style coat in a 17th century military officer style. She started with red wool. Then she lined the inside with a muslin colored fabric. The front, pocket edges and sleeves feature black wool sections with Brass Buttons and shiny gold colored trim. Historically, Native American warriors did acquire military officer's coats and other clothing and wore them as trophies. The previous owner wore this coat for French & Indian War period re-enactment events. You will see signs of wear. The coat remains in very good, wearable condition. It measures about 40 inches long from neck to hem. The chest measures 20 across (lying flat). The drop sleeves measure 18 inches long. It is a Men's size Large. One of a Kind!
