Iroquois Beaded Wall Pocket Whimsy
Antique Beaded Whimsy Wall Pocket was made in the late 19th Century in an Iroquois style. This is a classic example of the Beaded Whimsy tourist souvenirs made by the Native Americans in the border areas between the United States and Canada.
This Beaded Whimsy Wall Pocket features a floral design with beaded edging and beaded tassels along the bottom. The white seed beads, brass sequins and Basket Beads are intact. It is subtly colored in tan and gray.
The back fabric has a small stain on it. There is a beaded loop for hanging. It measures about 7" X 4-1/2" (including the hanging bead decorations at bottom). Pocket is about 2" deep.
