This Vintage Painted Drum is ready to display in your home! A Penobscot crafter made this drum with a metal frame covered with Birchbark. He painted both drum heads. On one side he painted a warrior's head and on the other some geometric designs on a blue background. Rawhide lacing attaches the two Rawhide pieces and a piece of braided Rawhide makes a handle for the Drum.It measures 5" in diameter and stands 3.5" when lying on one side. The Drum shows its age, but remains in very good condition.
