Use this Dance Stick Brick Stitch Blue at your next Powwow or display it in your home! The crafter made this gorgeous Dance Stick from a stained wood dowel. He created the fabulous beaded designs with Brick Stitch. Bands of color, geometric designs and abstract floral designs decorate a background of Turquoise Blue cut Seed Beads. In addition to basic colors, he used Wine, Clear, Cheyenne Pink, Clear Red, Clear Teal and Clear Pink Seed Beads.On the bottom, the crafter attached a 5.5" long twisted fabric cord as a strap. It measures 18.5" long overall. The Beadwork sections measure 9.25" long and 1.25" long.
Native American dancers use individually crafted and decorated sticks to enhance the energy of their dance. They design their Dance Sticks according to the type and purpose of their dance. Collectors often display Dance Sticks in their homes.
