Pottery Frog and Tadpole Motif Canteen by Marjorie Esalio
SOLD This striking Pottery Canteen- Hand-painted Frog & Tadpoles showcases a vibrant frog and tadpole design created by Marjorie Esalio in Zuni, New Mexico in 1993. Potter Jeff Eustace crafted the vessel. Both of their names appear on the bottom. A graceful floral motif decorates the opposite side. The artist applied a smooth white slip and brought each motif to life with bold red and black slip. The canteen measures approximately 5″ tall by 4.5″ wide. Its rounded bottom prevents it from standing upright on its own. This piece offers collectible appeal, distinctive artistry, and a strong presence in any curated display.One of a kind.
