This Breeches & Suspenders set is well made from Braintanned Deerskin Leather with Leather & Canvas Suspenders. 1/2" Brass Navy Insignia Buttons hold the bottom of the Breeches closed. 3/4" Navy Insignia Buttons fasten the front flap and waist. Wooden Buttons hold the Suspenders on.Additional acrylic shoelace type ties at the bottom of each leg and at the back can be used to lace the waist tighter. You can easily replace these with leather or natural cord. The tailor sewed the Breeches themselves together by hand.
The previous owner wore these Breeches & Suspenders. Thus they show some signs of wear. They are in very good condition.
The waist of the Breeches measures 42" and the length from the waist to the bottom of the leg is 25.5". The Suspenders measure 1 7/8" wide.
