Thus, he creates miniature masks that he adds to brooches, shadow boxes and bolo ties as we have here. You can find his work in museums in the United States and Canada. The Man Mask features Red, Green and Black paint. The four ply bolo cord measures 34" long and ends in stained wood tips. The mask measures 2.5" x 2". The card has the following text: "Man Masks or "Portrait Masks" are used in elaborate dance ceremonies to portray certain characteristics of one's personality."
The Moon Mask also features Red, Green and Black Paint. The four ply bolo cord measures 34" long and ends in natural wood tips with varnish. The mask measures 1.75" x 2". The text on the back of the card reads: "The moon lightens the darkness of the night and is portrayed much like the sun, with a face filling the centre, but without rays. The moon is the exclusive crest of only a few of the highest ranking chiefs."
