Give this Beaded Wood Spoon a special place in your collection! The crafter covered the handle of this Wood Spoon with Deerskin Leather. He covered the Leather with a Yellow pigment paint and trimmed the end into 3" long Fringe. Then he wrapped strands of Seed Beads in Turquoise, Cobalt Blue, Maize Yellow and Clear Red around the handle. He also tied on 2 tassels of 1" Tin Cones with Red Wood inside.The crafter stained the Wood Spoon a reddish color. Then he used a combination of burning and ink to create designs on the front and back of the Spoon. You will see that particles from pigment paint have come off of the Leather and seeped in between the beads.
This Spoon measures 6.5" long not including the Fringe. We recommend that you use it for display only.
