Beaded Blanket Strip – Large Red Wool Blanket w/Cobalt & Mustard Rosettes
Pony Beaded Blanket Strip - made by Master Craftsman Andy Bullock. The Red Wool Blanket is a Witney - Early Settler Blanket from England with a black stripe . The hand-beaded blanket strip is made with reproduction pony beads on braintanned leather. Beaded braintanned Deerskin Leather tassels with bells hang from the center of each of four Cobalt & Mustard beaded rosettes.
Beaded Blanket Strips originated as a means to cover the seam that was created when two braintanned Buffalo Hides were sewn together into one large hide.
Blanket Measures 68" x 66"
Blanket strip is 52" long and 4" wide with 7" diameter rosettes
