This Beautiful handmade Ash & Sweetgrass Basket will hold your yarn while you knit! The removable lid has a hole in it. Your yarn will be fed through the hole while the basket keeps the ball from rolling around. It comes with large loop handles so you can transport it easily. You can also use one of these handles to anchor the basket to something so it doesn't move while you are knitting.
The basket maker used dark red Ash splints to make this basket. You can still see the original color on the inside of the basket and its lid. The rim of the lid also features a Sweetgrass border.
This Basket remains in very good condition. You will find very few minor breaks in the smaller splints. It measures 9.5" high with the lid on. The lid measures 6" in diameter. The bottom measures 4.25" in diameter, giving the basket a kind of cone shape.
