You will find this Antique Salish Basket in excellent condition. We think the weaver created this basket around 1920. Salish basket makers traditionally used Cedar Root to create their baskets. They dyed Beargrass and wrapped that around the base splints to create a design.This Basket comes with an attached handle that is also wrapped. The diamond shaped design appears on four sides of the basket. It includes Black, light Natural and reddish Brown colors.
The wrapped design shows some breaks but overall remains in very good condition. The handle also remains in good condition.
You will find it a great addition to your basket collection!
It measures 4.5" high x 7" long x 5.25" wide.
