Bag Deerskin Leather Tulip
Bag Deerskin Leather TulipThis Tulip Bag is made from soft Deerskin Leather! The craftsman sewed six panels of smoke colored leather together with imitation sinew to create the distinctive flower shape. They cut holes in the top of each panel and wove a brown ribbon through to make a drawstring style closure. Next, the craftsman edged the seams of the bag with 11/0 white seed beads. Finally, they added four white and red seed bead tassels to the base of the bag.
The body of the bag is 7 1/2" long by 5" wide. The tassels are 2" long. The leather is in good condition with no major rips, tears, or holes. Unfortunately, the original ribbon drawstring has deteriorated. Estimated to be 50 years old.
