This Antique Ash & Braided Sweetgrass Basket comes in an unusual square shape. We believe it was made around 1900 by an Ojibwa Native American basket maker from Ontario.This basket features braided Sweetgrass woven through the sides.
This Basket does show some staining on the bottom. Some of the splints around the top have come loose. But overall the basket remains intact and servicable.
It measures 3" high and 9" across at the top. The bottom measures 6.5" across.
