Kachina Doll Pair

Get these colorful Kachina Dolls for your collection! These wooden Kachinas come from the 1970s when the artist(s) created them for the tourist trade.
We could not identify any particular Kachinas that these dolls resemble. The Kachina with the Orange Plume shares features with a Kachina Corn Maiden. The artist painted it in bright primary colors. He or she added Orange Fluff feathers to the top of the Kachina's head.  This Kachina stands just over 3" tall. It shows a little dust, but remains in good condition.
The Kachina with the Red 'ears' comes with a Blue Fluff Feather that has faded to white. This Kachina shares features with the Heheya Katsina. It also stands just over 3" tall. Dust also appears in places on it.  You will see pencil marks that say "Leader" on the bottom.
The previous owner stored these Kachinas carefully. The paint remains intact and bright. You will not see any scratches or damage on them.
Kachinas are supernatural beings in the Pueblo Indian traditions. The Pueblo tribes create Kachina Dolls to give to children. Children use them to learn about the various Kachinas and not to play with.
We are selling these as a set. One of a Kind!
