Details:  METIS of Maine  Annual Fall Gathering. Public Welcome. Bring your family for a day of fun and learning experiences.  Enjoy Drumming, Inter-tribal Dancing, Indian Songs and Flute Music.   Traders with Indian Crafts, Indian Item Auction, Raffle Drawing, Story Telling.  Plus Tipi Village, Food, Free Parking. Absolutely no drugs or alcohol allowed (strictly enforced)

Métis are mixed blood people with aboriginal (First Nations) ancestry. Métis people located in the North East USA, including but not limited to the state of Maine. The word “Métis” is French and is most often associated with people of mixed Aboriginal/French ancestry
