Pass the Feather Pakachoag PowWow
Location: Pakachoag Center 203 Pakachoag St. Auburn MA
Details: Indigenous tribal members including Chief Ladybug (Croatan) from Native Heritage New England, Chief Eagle Rising (Mi’kmaq) from the Greater Lowell Indian Cultural Association and Chief Blackwolf of the Nipmuc tribe, as well as other nations have come together along with Pakachoag Center and No Evil Project to bring a Powwow to the Pakachoag Hill area this fall. This will be the first time multiple tribes collaborate for a powwow in this area.
A Powwow is an event that celebrates and honors indigenous cultural heritage. This event will be open to the public and will offer an exciting and immersive way for the Central MA area to experience and learn about indigenous culture.
