One of a Kind.

Bone chokers hold a long and meaningful place in Native American culture. Artisans crafted them from bone hair pipes, leather, shell, and later glass beads. Warriors wore these chokers as protective adornments that symbolized strength, status, and spiritual resilience. The width and number of rows often signaled rank or ceremonial importance. Beyond protection, bone chokers expressed identity and honored the animals whose materials shaped them. They also strengthened the wearer’s connection to ancestral traditions. Over time, the form grew into a widely recognized cultural emblem. In keeping with this legacy, contemporary artists continue to create chokers that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics while preserving their deep cultural significance
