Ball and Cone Earrings look similar to earrings worn in the 18th century. The multi-tiered dangling earrings each feature 17 individually stamped pieces. They will hang down 6.5 inches.
You will also see a single Turtle shaped earring that comes with two metal drops. Finally, the lot comes with a large hand stamped Ring. We estimate the ring to be a size 7 or 8. You will see an R stamped on the back. We are selling these pieces as a lot. One of a Kind.
German silver, also known as nickel silver, is a type of metal alloy that typically consists of nickel, copper, and zinc. It has a silver-like appearance, though it does not actually contain any silver. Crafters and jewelry makers commonly use this alloy in making various types of jewelry due to its durability, attractive finish, and affordability. Since it doesn’t contain actual silver, it is much less expensive, making it accessible for mass-produced and budget-friendly jewelry pieces.
Hand-stamped jewelry refers to unique, personalized pieces created by stamping letters, numbers, symbols, or designs onto metal surfaces. Jewelry makers hammer each character or design individually using metal stamps, creating a charming, artisanal look. The process involves precision and a creative touc. The resulting slight variations add to the piece’s handmade appeal. Stamped jewelry involves imprinting patterns, symbols, or text onto the metal surface, creating personalized or decorative pieces. German silver is particularly suited for this technique due to its malleability and ability to hold intricate designs.
