One of a Kind.

Russell Green River Works began in the 1830s in Massachusetts and quickly built a strong reputation for durable, well‑made knives. Traders, hunters, and settlers carried these blades across the western frontier, and their reliability inspired the saying “up to Green River,” meaning top‑quality work. The company later evolved into Dexter‑Russell, which still produces knives based on the original Green River patterns.
