Decorate your home and create instant storage space with this Cree Style Leather Wall Pocket! The crafter made this Wall Pocket from Gold Deerskin Leather. He or she beaded a floral design on the front with Seed Beads in Green and Chartreuse with square cut beads in Red, Orange and Transparent Orange. Additional designs feature White lined Clear, Pink lined Clear, Transparent Amber Bugle Beads and more!To make the pocket, the crafter attached the beaded front to a larger back piece of Leather. He or she lined the inside with cotton fabric and added Green Bias Tape to the edge. Around the outside, the crafter attached natural fur. He or she strung tiny square Red Beads and larger faceted Red Beads and attached it to the back for a hanger.
This Wall Pocket measures approximately 6.5" x 6.5". It hangs 8" from the top with the hanger. This Wall Pocket is in very good, usable condition. The beadwork remains intact.
