This vintage round Basket- Ash & Sweetgrass Red would make a great addition to any collection. The maker used red dyed ash splints woven with braided sweetgrass creating a classic design. It still shows its color beautifully on the inside of the basket and lid, while the exterior has naturally faded with age. Both the bottom and cover are in very good shape. It measures 3.5 inches tall with the cover on. The cover is 6.5 inches in diameter and 1 inch high. The basket opening measures 5.5 inches across. This is a charming, well‑crafted basket with the character and authenticity collectors love.
