Regalia Skirt and Hood with Abstract Floral Beadwork

This striking Skirt & Hood Set- Beaded Abstract features an abstract floral design . The crafter constructed the skirt front from heavy blue wool, and lined the back with light flannel for comfort. Red silk blend trims the edges and forms the ties, adding vivid contrast. Beneath the abstract floral beadwork, the crafter added a red light‑flannel panel and a black cotton‑blend panel. The floral motif is outlined in yellow, green, and purple 10/0 seed beads. The wrap‑around skirt measures approximately 30″ long by 45″ wide.  The red silk blend ties measure about 32″ long and 44″ long. It is an approximate Women’s size Large.

The hood mirrors the skirt’s abstract floral motif. The crafter constructed it from a light red flannel panel paired with a black cotton blend fabric. Down the back, the crafter added two .75 inch strips of navy blue wool surrounding a 2 inch light blue silk ribbon. Purple, yellow, and green beads outline the wool and silk elements. Five 7″ beaded tassels in matching colors hang from the top. The hood measures about 15″ long by 9″ wide when laid flat. The crafter lined it with light gray flannel.
