This antique Whimsy Picture Frame 1915 features 1915 at the top and the word Indian on the bottom. It comes complete with a glass front. This antique whimsy has a very unique shape for a picture frame. The artist chose Pony Beads to create the floral design and the border around the frame. Brown fabric covers the front, and Blue fabric covers the back and the inside of the pocket.

Whimsy Pin Cushion Beaded
A crafter created this Antique Beaded Pin Cushion Whimsy in a spade shape. The artist used clear, transparent yellow, green and red, blue and navy blue seed beads with gray and blue basket beads to make the raised pictorial design. They used basket and seed beads to make the tassels. The whimsy has some bead loss and fading on the fabric. Red fabric lines the sides with clear beads. The dark brown polished cotton back has some fading. A previous owner used this cushion, and it still has a pin in it.

Someone added new pellon fabric to the back which blocks the opening for the picture pocket. You could remove the pellon to get to the pocket slot or insert your picture from the front.

Antique Beaded Whimsy Bird 1913
Add this Whimsy Bird 1913 to your collection! The crafter made this beaded Whimsy with tan fabric. Then he or she decorated it with Clear and Transparent Green Seed Beads and dark Gray Basket Beads. The crafter added a lattice ‘bib’ of White Seed Beads with a row of sequins to the front. A Blue Seed Bead surrounded by White Seed Beads serve as eyes for the bird. The bird holds two loops of Transparent Green Seed Beads in its mouth. Underneath the tail, the crafter used Clear Seed Beads to write ‘1913’.
The crafter attached three twisted threads to the bird. You can use those to hang it for display. This Whimsy Bird 1913 measures approximately 6 inches long and stands about 4.5 inches tall. Matchstick Holder Whimsey with Floral Design
This Floral Whimsy Matchstick Holder was made using Transparent Yellow, Red, Light Purple, Gray, and Clear Pony Beads. You will also find green and brown basket beads along with brass sequins in the design. The crafter beaded two flowers on the two front pockets. The top and bottom are beaded along with beading along the edges. The crafter added Beaded Looped Tassels made with pony and basket beads. The whimsey has a beaded loop on the top to hang it up. The gold polished cotton fabric is in good condition.

Beaded Gold Bird Whimsy with Dangles
A crafter created this Beaded Gold Bird Whimsy using Transparent Red, Yellow and Amber Seed Beads on gold polished cotton. You will also find Amber Basket Beads and brass sequins in the design. The bird has beaded dangles on it’s beak and feet. The eyes are made with green beads and red beads decorate the head. The beadwork is in good condition with little to no missing beads. You will notice the aging of the fabric and see some stains. The bird measures approx. 6.5 inches long from head to tail and 6 inches tall with the feet dangling.

Bright Pink Heart Shaped Whimsy Pillow
A crafter beaded this antique Whimsy Heart Shaped Pillow with animals and a botanical design. They chose clear, pink, white, yellow, light purple Pony Beads. You will also see some gray and white Basket Beads along with brass sequins on pink velveteen fabric. The crafter added Beaded Looped Tassels with Clear seed beads and Green, blue, brown, and pinkish red Basket beads. Around the edge of the pillow the crafter used Blue and clear seed beads to make a scalloped patten around the pillow. The crafter also added a handle strap using clear seed beads.
The Beadwork on this Pin Cushion is beautiful, but the piece has some bead loss around the edges. The velveteen has faded and has worn off in a couple spots.

This Whimsy Beaded Box Purple will make a fabulous display piece. The crafter used two shades of purple velveteen for the sides and a slate blue colored material for the top cover. Whimsy Beaded Box Red & Blue
A crafter beaded this Whimsy Beaded Box Red & Blue with transparent Pony Beads in Red, Green. Blue, Yellow, and Clear to create lazy stitch edging. On each panel, the crafter made simple center designs with Clear Pony Beads and Gray Basket Beads. On the bottom you will see several beaded loops made with Clear Pony Beads.
Each side of the Beaded Box is covered with either Red or Blue fabric. The crafter lined the inside of the box with pink polished cotton. The Box is intact. You will see insect damage in spots on the fabric on the side panels and minor bead loss. The box has a six inch hanging loop made of two strings of clear beads.
