Bead Ordering Information on Sizing
When ordering any style or size of beads, it is very important to keep in mind that dye lots on the beads vary. Make sure you order enough beads – especially your background color – all at one time. If you are trying to complete a particular project or repair, send us a few beads as a sample. We will do our best to match colors and sixes from our huge inventory.
What is a “hank” of beads?
Quality beads are temporarily strung in “hanks”. This is a symbol of quality and uniformity in beads. Hanks are the equivalent of 240 linear inches of beads. generally these are strung in 12 loops of beads 20″ long. A hank of 10/0 weighs about 1.5 oz. Bead sizes are indicated by numbers, with larger numbers indicating smaller sizes for each bead type
