Women's Northern Plains High Top Braintanned Moccasins
These beautiful High Top moccasins come in a Northern Plains style. The crafter used White Braintanned Deerskin Leather to make them. He or she added floral motifs and edge beading in Yellow, Orange, Clear Red, and Green Seed beads. The strap leather soles attach to the uppers with real sinew. The crafter used cotton thread to sew the uppers together. We believe the crafter made them circa 1980.Previously worn, they show minor bead loss and some discoloration. These moccassins will make a nice addition to a collection and someone could possibly wear them again. Chris has patched a couple spots on the back and provided new lacing.
These moccasins stand 12.5" high. The soles measure 3" across and about 9.5" long.
