Water Drum Mini Red
Handmade Mini Water Drum with beater
This Mini Water Drum is an ideal addition to your collection! The crafter made it from a painted wood base complete with a removable stopper. He or she signed the bottom T. Skye. It comes with a piece of Suede Tobacco Deerskin Split Leather and a fabric-wrapped ring. A little carved Water Drumstick comes with it, too. The Leather has a slit in it to hold the drumstick. The Drum stands about 2" tall and measures about 2" in diameter. The Drum stick measures just over 4" long. One of a Kind!Water Drums consist of a hollow chamber that users fill with water to create a unique sound. Native Americans from North and South America use Water Drums in their ceremonies and social gatherings. Sometimes musicians make them from clay or old crockery in addition to hollowed out wood. Water drums typically have a hole in their side for adding or letting out water once the cover is on, which is then plugged with a stopper.
