Vase Etched Birchbark
Vase Etched Birchbark
This Etched Birchbark Vase will make a welcome addition to your collection! The artist made the Vase with two pieces of Birchbark. He used spruce root to hold the upper portion together. He used sinew to attach the bottom. The artist etched floral, wave and geometric designs on the outside. A light coat of polyurethane gives it a bit of a shine. A bent spruce branch stabilizes the top. This Vase stands about 8.5″ tall. The bottom measures approximately 4.5″ in diameter. The top measures 5.5″ in diameter. This Vase came from a collection. It is in good condition. You will see some broken spruce root ties on the top and one side. Put it on display, or use it to store light, dry items. One of a Kind!
