Trade Beads - Dogon Clear
These Dogon Clear Trade Beads get their name from the Dogon people of Africa. Dutch colonists brought these beads with them to Africa in the 18th century.These Dogon Clear Trade Beads are small glass rings with wide holes. Some call them 'donut' shaped. The colors vary from Clear to Brown to a Gray depending on the inclusions within or on the glass. Some strands come with a few other Glass Trade Beads on them. These Trade Beads vary in size from 3/8" - 1/2" in diameter. The glass also varies in thickness.
They come with approximately 150 beads per strand.
