These Dogon Clear Trade Beads get their name from the Dogon people of Africa. Dutch colonists brought these beads with them to Africa in the 18th century.These Dogon Clear Trade Beads are small glass rings with wide holes. Some call them 'donut' shaped. Their translucence varies depending on the inclusions within or on the glass. These Trade Beads vary in size from 3/8" - 1/2" in diameter. The glass also varies in thickness.
This Strand comes with approximately 180 beads.
