Tobacco Pouch Antique

This Northern Plains Style Tobacco Pouch comes beaded on both sides.  The crafter made it with Braintanned Deerskin Leather.  He added abstract designs to both sides using Seed Beads in Greasy Yellow, Arapaho Green, Periwinkle, White Center Red, and Cobalt Blue.  The Pouch closes with a Braintanned Deerskin Leather Lacing drawstring.
Around the turn of the century, Native Americans created items like this Pouch for the tourist trade.  This one shows its age with the patina of the Leather.
This Pouch measures 5" long x 3.75" at the widest point. It is in very good condition for its age.  The beadwork remains intact.
