Club Narrow Brass Tacks
Add this 35" long Club to your collection! The crafter used Maple wood to fashion the Club. He heated a metal file to create a burned design on the wood. He stained the Club and applied a light coat of polyurethane. The crafter added 3/8" Brass Tacks in several rows and patterns. Near the handle end, he wrapped Brass Wire around the club and fastened it with Brass Tacks. On the handle, a drilled hole holds a piece of Deerskin Leather Lacing strung with assorted Glass Beads, aged Tin Cones and Red Deer Hair.The curved design of this club is reminiscent of those that would be swung by a horse rider. You will see some open slots on the outside curve where you can add your own decorative elements.
This club is very heavy. You may prefer to use it for display rather than an accessory.
This Club measures approximately 35" long. The handle measures 3.5" in diameter. A previous owner had this club. We are not sure of its age. You will see cracks and some white markings on it.
