Handmade Osage Style Wrap Skirt with Beaded Drop

SOLD This  Skirt Wrap Osage Style comes with a beaded Yarn Drop.   The seamstress made this very large women's skirt with blue cotton fabric.  It is not lined.  The seamstress used a sewing machine to stitch red and yellow lines across the middle and bottom of the skirt.  She then attached machine sewn Osage style ribbon work to one side of the garment.   The ribbonwork features burgundy, peach, yellow, red and ivory ribbon.  That section measures 8.25 inches wide and 32 inches long.  The crafter added white Seed Bead edge beading to the outside edge. The skirt itself measures 31 inches long.  It is 84 inches wide.
A yarn back neck drop comes with the skirt.  The crafter made it with burgundy, navy blue, peach green and white ribbon.  She made several sections with finger weaving and added narrow braided strands.  The crafter accented each strand with white Seed Beads or Pony Beads.   They hang from an open blue fabric top tab that matches the skirt.  The tab measures 6.5 inches wide by 3.25 inches.  You can use the tab to hang the drop from a hair or neckpiece.
A previous owner wore this skirt many years ago.  You will see signs of wear, including small holes where the wearer used pins to close the skirt.  The drop is in very good condition.  We are selling this Skirt Wrap Osage Style and drop as a set as is.  One of a Kind!
