Skirt Women's Seminole RedBrighten your wardrobe with this Seminole Skirt! A variety of patchwork and rickrack decorate this red cotton skirt. The seamstress added the patchwork panels to the outside of the skirt, so the only place you will see the patchwork inside is along the back seam. The back has a 1/2" button, 2 small snaps and 7" long zipper closure.
Seminole people of what is now Florida have been creating colorful patchwork clothing since the early 20th century. Some of the patterns represent particular concepts or natural phenomena. The Seminoles continue to create distinctive patterned clothing today.
This Skirt measures 40" long with a 24" waist (12" across when measured flat), a Women's size XX Small or size 0.
A previous owner wore this skirt, but it remains in excellent wearable condition. You will see faint marks on the waistband from a metal hanger.
