Root Burl Club Chip Carved with Native Face

Native Americans sought out young trees to use their root ends to make spiky clubs. This club comes from a natural tree with a small burl at the root.  The crafter painted the Club black.  Then the crafter carved and painted a detailed Native American warrior with an Eagle Feather headdress on the end.  Next, he skillfully chip carved designs on both sides of the handle of this Club.  You will see original bark on the club end.  A small amount of bark also remains on the handle end.  You will find a metal screw eye on the back with a loop of Imitation Sinew for hanging.  There is also the remains of what looks like a decal on the front.
You will find this Root Burl Club a unique addition to your collection or your dance clothes!
This Club measures approximately 21" long and about 4.5" wide at the widest point across the top.
