Rattle Hopi Style Sun Face
Add this spectacular Gourd Rattle to your collection! This Rattle features a Hopi Style Sun Face painted on both sides. The artist painted the gourd light green and added a Sun Face design in Black, White, Red and Yellow. The handle is cottonwood. At one time, a Feather fluff was attached to the top. You can see "Lloyd" written in pencil on one side. There are still strings at each end of the handle.This rattle came from a collection. Paint has chipped off of both sides. You will see a water stain on the bottom of the handle and marks from water droplets on the paint. The paint remains bright and the rattle itself is intact. The rattle measures about 10" long overall. The gourd measures about 4.5" in diameter.
