Birchbark Disk with Quilled Snapping Turtle
Add this delightful Quillwork design to your collection! The crafter started with a piece of natural Birchbark. Then he painstakingly added the Snapping Turtle design with Green and Black Porcupine Quills. He created an outline border with Natural Porcupine Quills. Then he attached strands of Sweetgrass around the outside edge. Another piece of Birchbark creates a backing for the piece.The Birchbark base measures 4" in diameter. The Quilled design measures 3.5" x 1.5". We got this Snapping Turtle Quillwork from a collection. It is in very good condition. One of a Kind!
