Pottery Polychrome with Feather Design
This small Terracotta clay pot features a painted Feather design around the rim. The potter started with a terracotta clay and covered it with a red slip and glaze. Then he or she painted over the glaze with off white, brown, gray and black paint.This Pot stands 3.25" tall. The top opening measures 2" in diameter. The pot measures about 3.25" in diameter at its widest point.
A previous owner had this pot in a collection. You will see places where the paint has worn off. Overall, this pot is very sturdy and remains in good condition.
