Hang this Birchbark and Sweetgrass Plaque on your wall and think of the sea whenever you look at it! The crafter made this plaque from natural Birchbark. He or she surrounded it with strands of Sweetgrass. Then the crafter used natural Porcupine Quills to create the imaged of a Seagull standing on a rock. The unknown crafter then wove individual Porcupine Quills along the edge of the Plaque.You will see some of the Porcupine Quills have been lost from the edge of the Plaque and from the Seagull's beak. A previous owner used this plaque, but it remains in very good condition.
This Plaque measures approx. 9" in diameter.
