SOLD Make this impressive Peace Pipe- Catlinite Disk the centerpiece of your collection!   The unique disc shaped pipe bowl is engraved 'Standing Eagle' on the bottom.  He carved the bowl from Catlinite stone and added a wood pipe stem.   He stained the 17 inch long stem dark brown and added a Deerskin Leather wrap with Blue and Orange Seeds beads.  This item meaures 22 inches long overall.
George Standing Eagle Bryan (1910- 1985) was an Ojibway pipemaker associated with the Pipestone National Monument and a member of the Pipestone Indian Shrine Association.   George was from the White Earth Reservation in Minnesota.  He was known for his skill in carving bison and disk pipes.
