Men’s Leather Jacket Beaded Braintanned
Men's Leather Jacket Beaded Braintanned
This vintage Men's Leather Jacket features colorful beadwork designs. The tailor used Braintanned Deerskin Leather to make the jacket. Western rodeo motifs decorate the front and back. The back features a Native man in a headdress, a horse, horseshoes, cacti, and arrows. Another Native man in a headdress, another horse, arrows, birds, a cactus, clover shapes and a tomahawk appear on the front. The front pockets sport multi colored clover shapes.4" long leather fringe hangs from the front and back yokes and the sleeves. We believe this jacket comes from the 1950s.
The jacket comes unlined with a metal zipper. You will see places where beads have come off. A previous owner wore this jacket, so you will also see evidence of wear and discolored areas.
This jacket is approximately a Men's Large. It measures 26" long from the back neck to the bottom. The sleeves measure 25" long and 5.5" wide at the cuff. The shoulder measures 18" across. The neck width is approximately 6".
