Quilled Deerskin Knife Sheath
This 9" long Deerskin Leather Knife Sheath features multi colored Quillwork. The crafter used Walnut Dyed Braintanned Deerskin Leather to make the sheath. He quilled two ash splints with Green, Natural, and Red Porcupine Quills to create the front design. He added an edge design with Green Porcupine Quills. Then he edge beaded the Sheath with White Seed Beads. Eight Red Deer Hair Drops with 1" Tin Cones hang from the sides and bottom. A 14" long ribbon serves as a strap.This Knife sheath measures 9" long and 1.5" wide. The neck strap measures 14" long. Ready for your next event, or a fabulous addition to your collection.
