Knife Sheath Multicolor Quillwork
Braintanned Deerskin Knife Sheath with Multicolor QuillworkSOLD Get this fabulous Knife Sheath Multicolor Quillwork for your collection! The crafter used Braintanned Deerskin Leather to make this sheath. He added zigzag Quillwork designs with Red, Light Purple, Dark Purple and Pink Porcupine Quills. Around the edges, the crafter added finely done Quillwork with Porcupine Quills. He used Red and Purple around the top edge of the sheath. On the lower part, he created a Double Curve design and other line designs with Natural Colored Porcupine Quills. Around the outside of the sheath, he added edge beading with Transparent Navy Blue Seed Beads. The crafter lined the inside of the Sheath with 2 pieces of cardboard. He attached a piece of Braintanned Deerskin Leather Lacing to the top. On the back you will see 'Ras' written in ink.
The Sheath comes with a knife with a mottled looking blade and a serrated top. The knife measures 7.5 inches long with a 4 inch long blade. The Sheath measures 10.25 inches long. It is 3.5 inches wide at the widest point. The adjustable strap measures about 20 inches long. We got this Knife Sheath from a collection. It is in very good, usable condition. One of a Kind!
